EXPERIENCE & HISTORY
Greg Morgan
Alliance Advisory was founded by Greg Morgan, following a 36-year career in and supporting the construction industry, including serving the citizens of Maryland as Commissioner of the Division of Occupational & Professional licensing at the Maryland Department of Labor. Greg’s combined private industry and state regulatory agency leadership provides our clients with unparalleled experience in the construction industry. During his extensive career, Greg has found that many companies in the construction industry have a need for guidance, process development and implementation as well as leadership coaching. Alliance Advisory provides strategic consultative services to our clients on a part-time contractual basis. Each consulting agreement includes exclusivity to a specific discipline within the construction industry.
Scott Emge
Scott Emge has more than 25 years’ experience as a senior finance and accounting professional for organizations ranging from start-ups to publicly traded companies across multiple industries, including service, construction, distribution and manufacturing. His experience includes forecasting, planning & budgeting, cash management, policies & procedures, benchmarking, negotiations, valuation and mergers & acquisitions. Scott also has extensive experience in designing and implementing systems and workflow design that drive efficiency, productivity and cost savings as well as hiring and staff development. He has been instrumental in building teams and action-driven reporting along with assessing, implementing, integrating and streamlining financial systems and processes. Scott is currently a full-time faculty member with the Finance department at Loyola University Maryland. As Executive-in-Residence he teaches and advises undergraduate and graduate students in the Sellinger School of Business and Management. Scott holds an MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business and holds a BS in Accounting from Towson University. He is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified Financial Planner®. Scott is currently a CFA Level 3 candidate.
